Most chosenDaily harvest for kitchen and living room
Verdara makes modular ash-wood planters, recyclable substrate and calibrated grow light into one system — built to keep producing in a kitchen, a restaurant pass or a classroom, all year round.

Most indoor plants fail for one reason: light, water and substrate were never designed as a single system. We start there.
Verdara began with a kitchen worktop measurement: 38 centimetres deep, enough to fit the prep area of most city flats. Planter body, reservoir, substrate and light are one set of structural parts, so re-potting or refilling is a single pull-out motion.
All timber comes from FSC-certified forests and is finished with food-grade hard wax oil only. The substrate is a coir and volcanic-rock blend that can be reused for three years before returning to the compost cycle.
Full-spectrum LEDs preset for leaves, herbs and seedlings on a 12-hour cycle that stays out of your evenings.
A bottom reservoir with wicking cord carries nine to twelve days per fill — a week away will not kill it.
Hardware, light bars and pumps are sold separately and replaceable for ten years. No sealed units.
From one countertop to a wall to a three-tier classroom rack, the logic is identical: same modules, same light recipe, same maintenance path.

We do not sell decorative greenery. We sell the certainty of being able to cut something every day.

Basil and lettuce cut before breakfast; three staggered modules cover two people comfortably.

Wall systems zoned by aroma intensity, cut to order, less cold-chain waste.

Three tiers per room; one term covers sowing, thinning, harvest and compost.
We do not sell systems in a single click. Every order starts with the space, the orientation and who will use it.
Send the counter or wall dimensions and orientation; we check whether daylight supports year-round growing.
You get a module count and a first-season planting chart with harvest cycles and substitutes.
Within 48 hours in Shanghai and Copenhagen; elsewhere we ship the parts with video guidance.
One remote diagnostic per season, substrate and light bars shipped as needed, five-year structural repair.
We stopped throwing out half a box of herbs every week. Since the wall went in, we cut to order — the aroma is genuinely different.

The five things people ask most about light, watering and upkeep.
Yes, with supplemental light. Our full-spectrum bar runs a 12-hour cycle that takes leaves and herbs from seed to harvest. Fruiting crops such as tomatoes and chillies need far more light, and we do not recommend them for a counter system.
The 8 L reservoir in Kōki lasts 9–12 days at normal indoor temperatures. For longer trips, set the photoperiod to 10 hours to reduce transpiration and ask someone to top it up once. We deliberately do not sell automatic top-up kits — they fail more often than they help.
The coir and volcanic substrate lasts about three years under normal rotation. After that you can send it back to us for composting (a return programme since 2026) and buy a replacement at cost. Light bars are rated for 50,000 hours — roughly eleven years at twelve hours a day.
No. The wall system fixes to a load-bearing wall or a reinforced panel with anchor bolts, and runs from a standard socket (24V at the fixture). We check wall construction and cable routing first; installation usually takes under three hours.
Yes, and we issue proper VAT invoices. Institutional pricing is quoted per classroom; ten or more rooms include teacher training and per-term servicing. Payment can follow a 50/40/10 schedule aligned to the school term.
Every figure comes from a full growing season in the Verdara cabin.

Send dimensions and use, and we will reply with module count, planting chart and budget — usually within two working days.
